Tip #3 How to get the home you love for the best price
Do your homework and be an educated buyer. Find out what the home is worth. Most Real Estate Agents have the data you need to become educated and to make yourself a desirable buyer.
- Financially Qualified - Show you are qualified financially to buy the home, have your financing in order.
- Serious Buyer - Show you are ready to buy something now.
- Alternative Options - Let it be known that you have alternative options.
- Move Swiftly - don't let things linger or someone else my beat you to the punch. If you have done your homework and are well prepared, make an equitable offer. You can't buy the house if you don't make an offer.
- Negotiate or Move On - Don't let negotiations linger on or stall. Keep them moving or be prepared to walk away from the offer. If you can not buy the property for what you believe is reasonable, then walk away.
When buying a home, seriously consider using a full time Real Estate professional. Agents know the market and have the experience necessary to guide you through the home buying process. Most agents are skilled in the art of negotiations, settlements, contracts and know the traps to avoid when buying a home.
